Member Open House

It’s a special night, and your name’s on the list!

Explore all your favorite exhibits (including our newest temporary exhibition The Science Behind Pixar), catch a movie, enjoy an ice cream on our iconic steps and participate in fun activities around the Museum after hours at this year’s Member Open House. Attendees also have the exclusive opportunity to tour both our collections and go behind the scenes in our staff offices.

This event is free for MSI members with advance registration, up to the quantity admitted under your membership.

Tickets

Advance registration is required. If you reserve tickets to Coal Mine, U-505 walkthrough tour, Numbers in Nature, The Science Behind Pixar or the Giant Dome Theater through Eventbrite, MSI will send you a follow up confirmation email with assigned entry times before the event. You will be asked to present this confirmation (on phone or mobile device) for exhibit entry.

Tickets for the flight and motion simulators will be available onsite, on a first-come, first-served basis; height and weight restrictions apply. Quantities are limited.

Please note

In order to enjoy all the one-night-only activities available during our Member Open House, we recommend that you reserve at most 2-3 special experiences per group. Attendees who reserve tickets to overlapping experiences or more than 3 experiences will be contacted directly to adjust reservations.

Additional Note

The Museum will close at 4 p.m. on this date to prepare for the Open House.
